Albert Sarvis

Albert Sarvis teaches Cartography, co-developed and taught Introduction to Geographic Information Systems, Applied Geographic Information Systems and World Geography courses at the University, and consulted with the University on the development of the Geographic and Geospatial Imaging curriculum, including both course definitions and hardware/software acquisition. He joined GeoDecisions as a Project Manager and Business Analyst within their Transportation GIS division and obtained his Project Management Professional certification in 2005. He is responsible for delivery of geospatial technology projects for the transportation industry through vigilant management of timescales, costs, and quality of deliverables to clients. Currently working on Spatial Tools for Safety Analysis at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as well as a GIS Web Portal for the North Dakota Department of Transportation. Mr. Sarvis serves as a business analyst for GIS Strategic Planning and GIS for Transportation projects throughout the United States.
