Student Webmail Overview

As a student of Harrisburg University, you will be supplied with an internet based email account.  This account is required for all Harrisburg University business and can be accessed by visiting http://webmail.my.harrisburgu.net  

The initial screen will contain a login prompt, from which you will need your username and password.  The username will be your full email address, which contains your first initial and last name; this will be followed with @my.harrisburgu.net as shown in the example below.  After entering the username and password, click login to proceed. 


                    

Once logged in, you will be able to view your inbox, read incoming email, add contacts and compose new messages.   

The inbox is the initial screen upon login.  From here you will be able to preview your incoming messages.  Simply click the email preview line to view the entire message. Additional options for messages in your inbox are available using the drop-down boxes. 

 

Settings are available which allow you to personalize the way emails are handled.  These options are available by clicking Settings on the menu bar, and choosing My Settings. 


 

User Information settings allow you to add additional information to identify yourself and route mail.  You may choose to provide your full name, an alternate reply to email address, or have all emails forwarded to another email address.  

Most important is the password field which allows you to change your password whenever you need.  Please protect your password!
