University Mourns Passing of Board of Trustee Member William G. Ruhl

The Harrisburg University of Science and Technology community is mourning the passing of  Board of Trustee member,  G. William “Bill” Ruhl.  

Mr. Ruhl not only helped lay the foundation for Harrisburg University, he was a chief supporter of the University’s mission and goals throughout his lifetime, and he made significant contributions to almost every area on campus. He helped transform an empty parking lot at Fourth and Market into a hub for science and technology education.   His leadership of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee was extremely valuable and helped to establish the proper foundation for the University’s  growth. The University's continue to be grateful for his support, counsel, vision and leadership. Our sincere sympathies go out to his family and friends.
