- BarCamp Harrisburg 6: Free Tech & Web Oriented Conference
BarCamp Harrisburg 6 is set for Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in PA. The free event is known as an ï¿½unconferenceï¿½ because it is filled with open, participatory events, discussions, and workshops where presentation content is provided by the participants rather than chosen speakers. The annual event draws nearly 200 web developers, cloud computing experts, educators, e-learning experts, application developers and software engineers.

- Commencement 2014 Information
Commencement 2014 is scheduled for Thursday, May 8th at 6:30 pm in The Forum Auditorium, located at 500 Walnut Street in Harrisburg. Guests and friends are invited to the Commencement' Reception at the Hilton Harrisburg, located at One North Second Street, immediately following the ceremony. Both events are free but an RSVP is required for each event.

- MABX Hackathon Hosted by Harrisburg University
Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, the Technology Council of Pennsylvania and Mid Atlantic BX will co-host the MABX Hackathon. The free event will take place Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Harrisburg University from 8:30 a.m. ï¿½ 4 p.m. followed by a social event until 6 pm afterwards where the winners will be announced. Registration is free and complimentary food and beverages will be provided to all registrants.
