The LTMS program is an innovative, applied learning technologies program that provides students with immediate career benefits while preparing them for projected industry needs. The LTMS program is a part-time or full-time 36 semester hour program that provides students with leading edge approaches and skills to help them apply existing and emerging learning technologies in a variety of learning environments.
Additionally, students can take courses via an online option—called E2C—which provides students the same instruction that face-to-face classroom learners experience while enjoying the benefits and convenience of attending virtually. Beyond the ability to speak and listen in real-time, Harrisburg University uses Adobe Connect's functionality to create a virtual environment that mirrors key classroom functions and expands upon others.

Tom Hanninen is enrolled in the Learning Technologies Master of Science program at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, and he is a chemistry teacher at Lower Dauphin High School. As part of his internship, he is designing, developing, and implementing a hybrid chemistry course that students can take to fulfill their honors chemistry requirement.
